His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Sri Bharati Tirtha Mahaswamiji, the ruling pontiff of Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri, is the 36th in the line of unbroken succession of illustrious Gurus and has been adorning the throne of transcendental wisdom since 1989.

He is a tapasvin of the highest order and is known for His great spiritual eminence and scholarship. He is a shining example of love and compassion.

As the throng of devotees visiting Sringeri to have darshan of His Holiness is increasing day by day, for the convenience of devotees to have comfortable darshan of His Holiness, the Gurubhavanam project was embarked in 2001.

To make that function a memorable event, devotees of Sri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri embarked upon the task of publishing this book ‘Memorable Moments with a Magnificent Sage’ for the benefit of the astikas. I am sure this book will be a significant contribution to the spiritual community.

The reflections elegantly portrayed in this book bear the stamp of spiritual realization and hold infinite riches in a little phrase. They bring one into acquaintance with everything that can deepen, broaden, strengthen and sharpen the mind. We are not sure whether the matter or the manner of presentation more excels. The language is supreme; the style is compact yet polished and aims at instilling spiritual discipline and in crease of human good.

The earnest and enthusiastic endeavour of Sri K. Suresh Chandar to bring out the luminous intimations of those glorious moments in an ordered and articulated form is really inspiring. The religious aspirant will find in this book a new and holistic approach towards life and experience the joy of spiritual discovery.

Countless are the edifying moments that the devotees have had with this great soul. I have compiled some of them and presented the same in this book for the benefit of the humanity.
