She has honed her skill under the patronage of eminent scholars and exponents of Hindustani Classical Music. She has received her Ph.D in Music from S.N.D.T. University, Mumbai. Her subject of research was "Methods to improve the quality of voice in Hindustani classical music". She has also to her credit M.Phil Music from Delhi University and M.A. Music from Banasthali Vidyapeeth, Rajasthan. Teaching Experience Dr. Maumita Banerjie has wide teaching experience to a wide audience both in School and College. She has presented many lectures demonstrations and papers presentations in Mumbai and Bangalore. Her write ups has been regularly published in Newspapers.
