As God has numerous attributes, there are hundreds of other names which indicate these attributes. These names, which are based on various attributes are the names of the same God who is only ONE. However many people, because of their ignorance believe that there are many gods and godesses who are known by different names. This belief is wrong as there is only One God who pervades everywhere. In this small book, an attempt has been made to describe briefly, various aspects of OM. These inter-alia include its meanings, the origin, its common usage and description in various holy scriptures and its linkage with other faiths etc. Some methods of meditation and OM JAPA are also stated. In part II of this book, famous OM mantras, with their meaning, have also been mentioned. Several OM songs (9-1-9-) have also been included for the benefit of the general reader.
