Dr. Lakshmi Narayan Chakrabarti, ex professor of Pailan College of Education and Pathar Pratima PTTI College. Now he is attached with Vivekananda Centenary College, Rahara Ramkrishna Mission in post graduate section. He procured First Class in M.Sc. from Calcutta University and also obtained Ph.D from the same University. He was honoured by 'Inspiring Teacher' - National award in the year 2013. He is also the secretary of Rishi Aurobindo Academy and Research - an organization of social work and research. His leisure period is passed by painting and writing.
History of Indian education system is too much dynamic. From encient education (prevedic) upto the Indian education system is long process. In the reighn of different kings, Emperors and Jamidar's admimistration system was changed vigourously from time to time. History of education in India is very old. Prevedic to vedic, vedic to post vedic, postvedic to medieval, mediaval to pre independent and finally from post independent to modern time. Different type of experiment was conducted over the students and several hypothesis was given time to time on the basis of recomendation of different commission. I think that this book will be more imformative for the student of education as well as for the achademician.

The recomendation of different commission mainly Kothari commission gave radical changes in the Indian education system more recently in 2020 the National Educatioanl Policy presented a hollistic as well as more dynamic system of education where the importance was given to the infrastructre of educational institution. Rigidity of the curricum is flexible character according to their inclination. Thats why importance is given to the Professional education and research in different era of science and Technology. Inportance was also given to the adult education and child education to make a new and prosperous India within 2050.
