This book is the basic book intended as a course supplements to Students, Researchers, Medical officers, and Practitioners of Ayurveda. This text book describes all vital topics related to Roga Nidan evam Vikriti Vigyan paper I as per NCISM. It covers the entire syllabus of paper I as per NCISM and it deals with the fundamental principles of Vikriti Vigyan and included 28 topics. Fundamental principles of diseases according to Ayurveda and Modern medicine described vividly. Diagnosis of diseases is completely relied on the history taking, clinical examination and ancillary investigations; all these aspect covered in this text. It is the classical book on Ayurvedic diagnostics. It deals with the factors which are essential to understand disease process as well for the diagnosis of diseases. It is very much necessary t to understand the basic concepts, which are related to manifestation, diagnosis, clinical methods and prognosis of disease. Hence complete knowledge of bedside clinical methods along with knowledge of ancillary investigations is thoroughly dealt under this paper. Prof. P. S. Byadgi is working as a teacher in the area of Roga Nidan evam Vikriti Vigyan (Methods of Diagnosis, Diagnostic Procedures and Pathology) since more than 21 years. Dr. Byadgi began his teaching since 2000 and has been writing books and publishing many articles. Dr. Byadgi earned BAMS degree in the year 1995 (UG) and completed internship in the year 1997, post graduate degree in the year 2000 (PG) and post doctor degree in the year 2003 (PhD). Editor in Chief for Journal of Advanced Research in Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy & amp; Research and Reviews: A Journal of Ayurvedic Science, Yoga and Naturopathy.
