Our horoscope is like a balance sheet of deeds of previous lives. The strength and good placement of planets represent assets while weaknesses and bad placements signify shortcomings and insecurities representing liabilities which we are carrying in this life.
A horoscope is the snapshot of the zodiac/planetary position on the horizon with reference to the place of one's birth. It's a fixed position and astrologers can elucidate their results and advise the propitiatory remedial measures on the basis of the amalgamation of various factors such as natal placements, weaknesses, afflictions and transit movement of planets, interrelationship with natal positions and planetary periods.
The natal afflictions find bad placements are permanent sources of troubles for the native. Desiring a resolution of these will bring the native to an astrologer, generally as a last resort, after one exhausts all other options which one can think of. Here the task of an Astrologer becomes very challenging as he/she has to provide some insight as to the duration of the problem and how to alleviate the suffering or expedite the delays in the fructification of results.
The propitiatory and strengthening remedies are like taxes imposed by the planetary cabinet, which, if one sincerely follows in a preventive manner, then one is able to lead a relatively trouble free life. If one is not paying taxes on time then like the penal proceedings of the government, planets too make their anger felt by making one experience hardships, health problems, sufferings and inordinate delays in the manifestation of expected results of the planets.
This book is the result of the popular demand of students and advanced learners of the Systems' Approach and it contains the results of each planet being placed in each of the twelve houses for all the twelve ascendants. This book should be read with the book titled Impact of Ascending Signs for complete understanding. The enumeration and description of the placements is done in a systematic manner and it also contains the result of the lordship of the planet placed in a house. It strives to blend both the general and particular significations of planets and helps one to delineate the significance of a planet being placed in a specific house in a specific zodiac sign. For example, what would be the result of an exalted Jupiter for a Cancerian and how would an exalted Jupiter behave for a Leo rising native.
The objective of the book is to equip the students and practitioners of the divine science of Vedic Astrology with tools that would:
Clearly delineate the results of planetary influences in a horoscope.
Appreciation of the distinction between General vs Particular significations of planets.
Proper application of various Orbs of affliction.
Increase the probability of accurate predictions.
For understanding concepts and how to apply them, the first and foremost requirement is sincerity in efforts. Unbiased and fair application of principles, perseverance and a peaceful mind helps one to develop good concentration. It helps the creative faculties of an individual to develop, which is God gifted. However, efforts can be made to achieve the same by following the teachings of our ancient rishis (spiritual and learned persons). Over the years, the SA astral remedial suggestions have also been educating practicing astrologers; they are able to use the remedies and read their own horoscopes with greater confidence and clarity.
Birth particulars in the books have been withheld in some case studies out of respect for the privacy of the natives, even though the inclusion of such charts has been considered necessary. The readers can also read about Prof. V. K. Choudhry's journey in Astrology including versatile case studies on our website, www.YourNetAstrologer.com which add new insights for interpreting the horoscopes.
