This publication is a collection of papers. It includes six articles which have been published and some papers which were presented at conferences. These have been minimally altered to suit this volume. There are also few of them prepared specially for this book. Many of these writings were addressed to psychiatrists and other behavioural scientists. Different dimensions of the art and science of psychiatry have been touched upon. Classical and traditional ideas have been incorporated in some of the chapters while significant current trends have been documented in others. The latter group includes the articles, "Universe of Gerons", "Sunset Years", "Family and Mental health", "Secrets of Slumber unravelled" and "Psychiatrist in the Court". It is hoped that the material offered in this little volume will be of interest to general readership.
