Many of my students and friends have long been pressing me to write a book on "How to Utilise the Repertory" for finding out the similimum. But, at present I have little time at my disposgl to write a systematic Text-Book on the subject. So some of my friends advised me to compile and reprint the articles on the subject published in the Hahnemannian Gleanings. And this small book is the result of my submission to this advice.
It is quite obvious that the art of Repertorization is based on the art of proper elicitation of symptoms with the fullest possible expression of each cl. them, then their proper evaluation, categorization and classification. So I had to include in this compilation a series of articles dealing with these aspects of the art.
As, quite natural in such compilations, there have occurred frequent repetition of the same ideas in the various articles. But I do hope that, these repetitions will not bore the readers, rather they will help in engrafting these highly important fundamental ideas further deeper into their minds.
I will deem this meagre work highly repaid if it comes to any use to Homoeopathic learners.
It is my duty to thank the Hahnemann Publishing Co. (P) Ltd., Publishers of the Hahnemannian Gleanings, for allowing me to reprint these articles, and Dr. Sushil Kumar Mondal, D.M.S , of Howrah, one of my most deserving and beloved disciples for making this compilation ready for the press.
