Introduction of Research Methodology and Medical Biostatistics to undergraduate by Central Council of Indian Medicine is a welcome step. This would sensitize the Undergraduates to basics and may help in understanding and deep in pace with recent Research update in Ayurveda.

Though syllabus is aimed at introducing the number of research, the effort of Dr. Shashirekha H. K. and Dr. Bargale Sushant Sukumar is commendable in presenting the complicated topics of Research Methodology and Medical Biostatistics in simple and exam friendly manner. This text book "Research Methodology and Medical Biostatistics" ready reference for undergraduates with relevant examples and illustrative. I believe that this endeavour by both authors would be a primer for Post Graduate Scholars. Authors have understood the complexities of both components of syllabus and presented the topics in relevant subheadings. I wish this text book be profusely used and see plenty of editions in coming years.
