The backbone of any nation is its youth as the thought Process and work style of youngsters is always positive. Impediments never bother them. What they require is a direction, proper channelization of their energies and best use of their time. This purpose could be achieved only through constant dialogue and thorough discussions with the intellectuals, talented people and men of wisdom. The eminent persons in the hierarchy of Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) do have various kinds of group meets and intimate dialogues regularly to provide guidance and direction to the youth.
In furtherance of the above task, a group meets of the young professionals from the fields of Information Technology (IT) and Management was organized on 4th January 2009 at 10.00 AM at Mavlankar Hall, Rafi Marg, New Delhi. Manniya Mohan Rao Bhagvat, the then Sarkaryavah and now Sarsanghchalak of RSS was invited to address the gathering on 'The Role of Youth in Nation Building.' The manner in which he presented his subject mesmerized the youth. The elucidation on Management in the light of the Indian thought was not only thought-provoking, it also enthralled their hearts. Their doubts were indeed resolved in the question -answer session towards the end of the programme. Without winking an eye, around one thousand stunned youngsters kept listening to him. Many among them were heard saying afterwards that they never came across such an invaluable guidance before. Keeping in view the utility and significance of this interactive deliberation, Suruchi Prakashan, Delhi thought about and rightly so, to incorporate it into a book. The Board of Trustees readily gave their consent and directed to complete the work expeditiously. I wish and believe that the book "The Role of Youth in Nation Building" certainly will be an asset and serve as a beacon of light for the youth of our nation.
