The romance of Mirror Meditation is a treatise on the science and art of Yoga and meditation with an elucidation of its Variant of Mirror mediation.

Its author, Dr.P.V.Rajkumar was by profession an Academician for more than thirty long years. He served as Professor of Economics in Madras Presidency College and later in the University of Madras. He was promoted as an academic administrator as Principal of different Government Arts and Science Colleges and he also functioned as Joint Director of Collegiate Education in the Government of Tamil Nadu.

After superannuation he by accident of birth Stumbled into Temple administration As The sole Hereditary Trustee of Arulmigu Apparswamy Temple in Mylapore, Chennai, one of the richest temples in Tamil Nadu. It is in this assignment he was attracted to spiritual Studies and after five long years of mastery of spiritual literature he happened to pen this Treatise. It is written in the Professor's characteristic Diction and style. This book may well serve as an introduction to the subject of spiritual science. In the light of the thought provoking statement of Thomas Carlyle a good book is not written in ink but in blood.

The author participated in many Religious and spiritual discourses held in the city and elsewhere like the world spiritual University Centre of Brahmakumaris at Mount Abu. He was awarded the title Arulselvar by the Temple of Consciousness at Ariyalur in Coimbatore for mastery of simplified Kundalini meditation. He was also conferred the honor of Swami Amano Surdham for proficiency in Osho's meditation techniques.

He has extensively travelled across the globe lecturing in different Universities on Economics, participating in Conferences on Public Finances in cities like Tokyo, Philadelphia, Paris, Madrid, London, Toronto and Vienna.

He is currently the Sole hereditary Trustee of Arulmigu Apparswamy Temple and Diverse Charities founded in the year 1855 at Mylapore in Chennai.

This treatise does not lay any claim to raw originality.

In a compilation like this there is a likelihood of repetitions and reiterations. But they are perhaps intended to enhance rather than detract from the merit and value of the book.

The book has painstakingly marshaled facts and details from multifarious sources, distilled and dovetailed them into a wholesome work.

The thesis is then presented to the creamy audience in the author's own professional style and diction. It is also addressed to the innocent readers who may venture to attempt spiritual learning with the proverbial hesitation that "angels fear to tread where fools rush in". In this context one may draw consolation from the adage that human beings are not infallible. It is also observed "that the angels among human beings are not always angelic; seemingly simpletons may possess spark of angelic traits".

The author has chosen the title of "ROMANCE OF MIRROR MEDITATION" for this treatise.
