The aim of sadhana is perfection. When you achieve perfection in your actions then you achieve perfection in your sadhana and not before. Sadhana is necessary to perfect the imperfect karmas, to ripen and perfect the unripe senses and to focus the scattered and dissipated energies of the mind. Sadhana becomes the medium through which you can awaken the higher qualities. If you do not do sadhana, you cannot awaken the spiritual qualities.
The Yogadrishti (Yogavision) series of satsangs consists of discourses given by Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati in Munger as part of the new phase of sannyasa life that he has embarked upon since 2009.
The theme of the satsangs Swamiji gave in April 20 11 at Ganga Darshan Vishwa Yoga Peeth was sadhana. Swamiji explained sadhana as the attainment of perfection in all one does, to fulfil the aim of life which is to move from tamas, inertia, to sattwa, luminosity. Swamiji elucidated the process of sadhana and the different sadhanas for householders and for sannyasins, to attain one's highest potential.
