Sahib: Parables of a companion, is a collection of 101 stories from the teachings of the Sahib. It is neither based on Historical facts nor is merely a product of vividly imaginative minds. It is rather meaningful and representative of the solution to the times we live in. Be it a five-year-old or a fifty, this book has something to offer everyone. Setting aside religious beliefs, one is advised to keep an open mind and appreciate the moral lessons from these unique stories.
EHSAAN NASHAD is a Canadian writer of Indian origin and is based out of Toronto. He did his Engineering Honours Degree from BITS-Pilani and moved on to fields of Philosophy and English. He is a mentor and a motivational speaker.
These 101 parables are drawn out from the life of a companion, hereby referred to as Sahib, when he undertook several years of spiritual journey towards the east, traversing soothing and harshest of landscapes, carrying forward the mantle to deliver and spread the original message of peace to humanity. The stories are summarized from elaborate encounters between Sahib, his disciples and others, to give a brief moral to the readers. While some stories are clear-cut message driven, some are open to one’s interpretation.
