Thakur Jaideva Singh was a unique personality, not only a visionary scholar of music and philosophy (specially Kashmir Saivism), but a multifaceted and versatile scholar. He established and contributed immensely to the holistic vision of knowledge combining philosophy and music. philosophy of music & philosophy in music' in it's minutest details. He meticulously adhered to the polemics of sangita sastra based on profound Sanskrit texts of Indian music. As a Sanskritist and philosopher, he could codify and define every theorotical aspect of music with erudition. As a visionary thinker he explored almost all the areas of music.
