The true purpose of education must be to impart knowledge with a firm base of moral cultural values. This is not possible in a short period of time. Since the foundation-laying and formative years of the individual's life are spent at school, it is advisable to integrate it into the process of teaching the regular subjects.

This series of 4 books named 'Sanskar' has been compiled by Nirmala Gupta and Aruna Mathur under the able guidance of, and precious inputs from, H H Maa Purnanandaji, the Founder Chairperson & Spiritual Head, Satyavrat Institute of Subjective Science, Noida (U.P). It provides the material for imparting the higher value-systems in a playful and interesting way to the coming generations. It is necessary to make the children intellectually understand the importance of values through mantras, stotras, song stories and festivals, based on culture and philosophy. The special feature of this series is that a CD containing the mantras, stotras, poems and bhajans, comes with each book; chanted and sung in melodious voice of Maa Purnanandaji, to help the readers with correct pronunciations.
