Padartha Prakarana deals with the forms and functions of Paśu, Pati and Pāśa. Beyond Pati who is identical with Sadasiva, is the Absolute Śiva. The next Prakarana deals with the Jivātman and Paramatman and their absolute identity; the importance of the teacher in instructing the higher truth is also discussed. Paramātman is Absolute Reality. The constitution of the world is from the Apara with its subtle and gross differences. Through Yogic Sadhana-s under a proper teacher one can realize one's identity with the Absolute Reality. The third Prakarana is on the movable and immovable phenomenal world, and the process of evolution, including embryology. The fourth section, in three verses, speaks of all the languages-Sanskrit, Prakrits, the regional languages, and the languages of animals, birds etc. as evolved from the internal vāk in combination with Prana, Apāna, etc.
