More than a century ago Swami Vivekananda declared at Chicago that the modern scientists who are exploring the external world will ultimately reach the same point which was reached by ancient Indian seers by exploring the self within. This predication of that unparalleled visionary is being made a reality by almost every branch of modern science.

Since I-SERVE (Institute of Scientific Research on Vedas) is a research Institute interested in every branch of Vedic Science and Since every ancient Indian scientific text book invariably outlines the connection between the materialistic and spiritualistic approaches of sciences wit special reference to its own content we at I-SERVE are deeply interested in this subject of inter linkage and inter convertibility of science and spirituality and gathered the thoughts of other scholars also in this regard on the occasion of several Conferences/workshops organized by us.

The papers scattered in various conference volumes are being put together in the form of this volume viz Science spirituality with an aim to consolidate various angles of the subject and inspire deeper researches in this direction. We profoundly thank the authors of these papers and hope this volume would inspire more valuable volumes in this direction.
