'Bhairava Upasana' is’ a book related to Tantra Sadhana. Bhairava Sadhana is a difficult Sadhana because it gives no respite to the devotee and because a small mistake may prove disastrous and fatal. One should be pious from inside; very determined; a thorough devotee of Bhairava and must get a really capable Guru before venturing into Bhairava Siddhi.
The book 'Bhairava Upasana' covers all the aspects and contains all the needed Mantras and Stotras including complete poojan vidhi, arati, chalisa and kawacha. Read the whole of the book twice then think of decide proceeding ahead on this path or not. I repeat, if this path is chosen then everything must be performed under an able teacher. If otherwise, then noone should show to be daring and adventurous.
In the book three names of Bhairava have been vehemently used: Bhairva; Kala Bhairava and Batuka Bhairava. It may create confusion. It must be clear in mind that the three are one and the same or all the Bhairavas are the same. Different Gurus wrote and taught his mantras etc using different names. While collecting them, separate sections have been give to Kala" Bhairava and Batuka Bhairva. One can follow any. They are the same. Even many Kawacha or Names should not create confusion. One can follow any. All are the names of Bhairava Baba.
The book 'Bhairava Upasana' will definitely give a lot of information and endow one with power to dive deep in the wide, attractive and mysterious realm; and definitely understand a lot.
Only a has been taken from Scriptural Transliteration for long 'a' sound, which is otherwise impossible to write in Roman Script. Rest of everything is as written in government papers, magazines, newspapers and general books. It will help the readers to read the Mantras and Shlokas quoted in it and also the names of numerous persons and books.
