Dr. Mahendra Mittal was born in a respected middle class trading family of Hapur town of Gaziabad district on June 12,1933. He earned M.A. degree and Ph.D. in Hindi literature. The literature has been his interest since the very age of teens. Basically, a man of literature he is. His first fiction novel ‘Bheegi Palkain’ was published in 1959 from Delhi. The book had been a curriculum subject upto graduation level in South Indian educational institutions. It was translated in several other vernacular languages. Since then several books namely-‘Dhundhli Rekhayen’, ‘ Mangalsutra’, ‘Nandini’, ‘Chhaya Purush’, ‘Rait Ki Kagaar’, ‘Bikhare Chehre’, ‘Sarhad Paar Se’, ‘Khilona Gadi’, ‘Samarat Ashok ‘, ‘Mat Chookyo Chauhan’, ‘Shirdi Ke Sant Sai Bada’, ‘Dharam Yuddh’ etc. Have been published through various Delhi publishing houses. His two plays ‘Kaling Ki Virasat’ and ‘Hum Farishte Nahin’ also got printed. His research work ‘Bhartiya Chalchitra’ has been awarded. And more than 100 pictorial story books based on mythological and historical characters have also been penned by him.

His other writing are- ‘Kya Hai Vedon Main’, ‘Kya Hai Upnishadon Main’, ‘Kya Hai Puranon Main’, ‘Sachitra Ramayana’, ‘Sachitra Mahabharata’, ‘Shrimadbhagwat Purana’, ‘ Shiva Purana’, ‘Shukra Neeti’, ‘Chanakya Sutra’ (Commentaries), and ‘Sant Kaviyon Ke Pramukh Dohe’.

Dr. Mittal has taught Hindi Literature in various post graduate universities for eleven Years. Presently he Writes freelance.

In Hindu faith Krishna has been considered as manifestation of God, an incarnation with all the sixteen sublime qualities. His name, forms, attributes and spectacles are indivisible. A Peron who is not ardent devotee of Krishna can not comprehend his divine character. One must have unreserved love and devotion for understanding him. Even his infantile miracles can reveal at deeper level the spectacles of divine and sublime dimension. A firm and limitless faith in his divinity is a must.

Krishna ‘Yogeshwara’ dimension is revealed in Gita where the union of individual soul and Soul Supreme has been defined as the final redemption or moksha. The total and pure love for Krishna can be attained in a simple way through Bhakti Yoga (true devotional path). The follower of true devotional path gains divine qualities and attains Krishna.

During the Gita revelation Lord Krishna blesses Arjuna with divine sight to enable him to see the cosmic dimension of Lord. The simple devotion to Lord gains one this insight. Krishna tells Arjuna that his form was the manifestation of Power Eternal. Thus, a man can unite with the creator or gain moksha through simple devotion ‘Bhakti Yoga’.

In this book the miracles and spectacles worked out by Krishna have been complied in serial order. The aim is to praise the miracles of Lord because the devotional sentiment generated by it enables one to see his divine cosmic phenomenon. The narrative has been kept in comprehensibly simple wordings.
