Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji is compassion personified. His sparkling, sympathetic, and probing eyes delve deep into our souls to extract all of our hidden secrets from all past lifetimes. He is also known as Appaji, the Revered Father to those that look upon him as their pod-Father, literally. Swamiji gently touches our lives with peace and harmony regardless of who we are. He travels the world, treating it as one close-knit family, his family. Divine music is the binding force. He is above religion and language. He communicates through love, silence, and music. His healing music rises from deep within his heart to express itself through his melodious voice, and his nimble fingers that play amazing music. He draws his energy from the exhaustible source that creates and nourishes this universe. He removes our worldly difficulties, whether they are In the form of diseases, poverty, or mental distress, and the expedites our spiritual growth.
In this infinite Creation, our Earth is but atom-like. A human being living on this minute earth is unimaginably small. Born amidst us, living as one amongst us, Swamiji is capable of lifting us from our limited existence to limitless and immeasurable heights. To help us break our bonds and achieve our true nature of infinity and e ternity Swamiji has come down to us in a human form.
Does Swamiji’s name have any significance? Yes. Of course! Ganapati represents the syllable Om, which is the source of creation and of all spiritual knowledge. ‘Sat’ is existence. ‘Chit’ is consciousness. ‘Ananda’ is supreme bliss. Everything in creation consists of these three aspects. Therefore, Swamiji’s name Ganapati Sat-Chit- Ananda stands for everything that is, was and ever will be. A ‘sadguru’ is the supreme master capable of lifting one out of the darkness of ignorance into the effulgent light of Truth. To Swamiji’s followers he is not only a spiritual guru but also their very best, most intimate friend. Here are some of their personal experiences.

Swamiji accepts everyone in spite of his or her faults and weaknesses. He gives of himself to each person totally without any reservation. His love knows no bounds. That is why his followers are drawn to him like bees to honey.
Those that serve Swamiji selflessly and with unwavering faith, receive in return, peace, contentment, and joy. Swamiji say’s that one’s karma or one’s own actions from the past determine one’s present and future circumstances. No outside person is responsible for our pain or pleasure. By blaming and hurting others we only increase our own burden of sin, and spoil our own future. The grace of a sadguru improves one’s destiny despite one’s imperfect past. A sadguru’s compassion provides the strength to endure the consequences of past misdeeds.
