The essence of all the Scriptures is the Realization of the Self as God. The Scriptures are like the body of God. He is revealed by delving into their depths. To meet someone, we go to that person’s home. In much the same way, if we are seeking Lord Rama, we look for Him in the Rarnayana. In fact, one meaning of the word ‘Ramayana’ is the ‘Home of Lord Rama.’ Similarly, if we want to meet Lord Krishna, we study the Bhagavad Gita, as that is His abode.
The Bhagavad Gita tacks the form of Lord Krishna and He manifests right before our eyes. Imagine, for a moment, the wonderful form of Lord Krishna, and then witness the entire Bhagavad Gita unfold chapter by chapter as the very body of Sri Krishna. We have to look at His beautiful form, His lotus feet, His legs, His arms, His smiling face, His flute, His dress and ornaments, His eyes, His mukuta (crown)... and behold Bhagavan Sri Krishna manifest as the Bhagavad Gita.
