About the Author

Pranab Bandyopadhyay (b. 1925) obtained his M.A in Modern Indian Languages from the University of Calcutta in 1949; has been widely published in India and abroad: his biography has been included in the 'International Who's who is Poetry', and 'Men of Achievement' published by the International Biographical Centre. Cambridge. England. And also in 'Who's Who of Indian Writers' published by Sahitya Academy. Incia has been broadcasting from All India Radio for more than 35 years was awarded D. Litt. (Honoris Causa) in 1980, and 'Diploma De Merito' by Universita Delle Arti. Italy in 1982.
