who initiated me into Krushna consciousness. He was a great exponent of Vedic philosophy, and who practiced Krushna conscious life and also preached Krushna consciousness all over the world. Śrīla Prabhupāda is an out-standing example of a Mahābhāgavata.
Under the guidance, inspiration and encouragement of Srila Prabhupāda, I am able to compile this Vedic literature for the glorification of Guru Mahārāja and for the benefit of those who are interested in knowing the purpose of human-life. In this endeavor. I would like to thank many of my God- brothers, well-wishers and friends who helped me in the different stages of the preparation of this manuscript. Among them, Sriman Nrusimha Dāsa Brahmacāri Mahārāja helped with proofreading and also gave valuable information.
A pure devotee of Lord Krushna, Srila A.C.Bhaktivedänta Svämi Prabhupāda is the standing example of a mahä- bhagavata. Because he is a pure devotee, he could wipe out the ignorance of many all over the world. His activities are confirmed in Srimad Bhagavatam 1-2-15.
"While remembering the Personality of Godhead, with sword in hand the intelligent persons cut through the binding knots of material bondage. Therefore, who will not pay attention to his message "?"
All of us know that we are living in an uncertain world, full of dangers, anxiety, having no future prospects and are entangled in material complexities because of the polluted industrial era. Further, we are totally lost in our objective and purpose of human life. The human population has enough food, shelter and clothing which are the basic necessities of life, still they are not attempting to investigate the purpose of human life but are only trying to enjoy the material life as long as possible. A glimpse of the cause of birth and death and the purpose of human life is presented hereunder in the light of the Vedic knowledge (the oldest literature known to man that deals with the material and spiritual prosperity of the society). This is the reality; the most beautiful!
