Hindu religiosity and culture are well-known throughout the world. From time immemorial, they are guiding the east and the west. We should not forget the sayings, “Children of today are the citizens of tomorrow” and “It should be bent while it is a plant, for, it cannot be bent when it grows into a tree.” Our religious and cultural heritage should take its roots in the hearts of our children and flourish there for ever.
To achieve this end, it is essential to acquaint the children with the ideal life-histories of great persons. For this laudable purpose the management of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has opened the children's section as a wing of the Dasa Sahitya Project.
The life-history of Sri Prasanna Venkatadasa who has dedicated his life for the betterment of the world is now presented in this book blended with morals in simple language. We pray to Lord Sri Venkateswara that this effort may be fruitful.
