Sri Ramakrishna is a name to conjure with. His admirers and devotees belong to all religions and sects and some of them are persons well known in different fields of life. His Brahmo admirers deserve special mention. Sri Ramakrishna, with his catholicity of outlook, had very good rapport with them and they had great love and regard for him. In a sense, it is they who first brought Sri Ramakrishna into limelight.
Sri Nanda Mookerjee did a good and useful job when he edited Sri Ramakrishna in the Eyes of Brahma and Christian Admirers in 1976. The book is remarkable for its historical value. Many of us have been using this work as a book of reference. It has been long out of print, and now that the editor has assigned the copyright of the book to our Institute, it gives us much pleasure in reprinting the book. Apart from a few spelling changes. The book has been reprinted intact.
