The Academy of Sanskrit Research has decided to celebrate the millennial of Sri Bhagavad Ramanujacharya in the year 2017 by publishing many major works. Also, the plan includes the propagation of Vishishtadvaita philosophy and bringing out condensed versions of various Sanskrit literary works.
Presently, the Academy is publishing a precise, - version of "Sri Vaisnava Siddhantha Sangraha" in Sanskrit from Vidvath Kaviratnam Areyar Sriramasharma. The various issues that are discussed in the book are features of Sree Vaisnava tradition, the coming together of a perfect Guru-Sisya relationship in their quest for truth, analysis of the divisions of Means of Knowledge - object (Pramana-Prameya) that concerns true knowledge.
It also mentions about Arthapancaka, Narayana - Sabdartha, and the divine visions of Sri Bhagavad Ramanujacarya and is a very useful collection of insights from the works and visions of the previous Acaryas.
Vidvath Kaviratnam Areyar Sriramasharma has served as Principal, Sri Veda-Vedanta Bodhini Sanskrit Maha Pathashala, Melkote and after retirement has immersed himself deeply in literary research and writing activities. Vid. Areyar Sriramasharma is a renowned multillingual poet and visionary and presently works from Melkote. He is also a founder member of our Academy. Further, we are grateful to Vid. Umakanth Bhat, Melkote for supporting to bring out this valuble edition.
This work was possible because of the encouragement and support of the Management of the Academy and State Government of Karnataka.
