This book gives an account of Swami Vivekananda's teachings, his personality and his contribution to the building of modern India. It has four sections. The first deals with his life; the second discusses his teachings, the third his personality and the last his idea of secularism.
About the Author:
The author Dr V. K. R. V. Rao refers to Swami Vivekananda's "Practical Vedanta" as "Vedantic Socialism". He also holds that the ideals propounded by Swami Vivekananda, which were politically revolutionary during his times, influenced the subsequent socio-political developments in India.
