A Textbook of Agadatantra is written according to latest CCIM syllabus for B.A.M.S. thrid year students. This book furnishes basic information about. Agadatantra giving emphasis on every aspect evenly like principle, different poisons and treatment .The contents describe the points under the headings of Visha, Visha pareeksha sarpa visha etc. SOme of the "Referrence," "Question papers" and Picture are added at the end of book. This will help the students (U G. & P.G. both) to understand the subject better. Every effort has been made to make the book easily readable and understandable by students with the help of many picture, tables and flow charts.

The Purpose of this book is to provide concise, essential, complete & readable information on Basic and applied aspects of Agadatantra. Selection of subject matter and its presentation is based on the experience gained during the Post-graduation and teaching of the students. Stress is given on modern aspects, which are clinically important, and an effort has been made to correlate physiopathology of the disease. Information is arranged according to sequence and syllabus followed by CCIM. It is hoped that the students will find the book useful for understanding the subject as well as while preparing for the University and various competitive examinations.
