Tribal Culture, Folklore and Literature - Mizos of North East India has been prepared for our non-Mizo friends who are yet to know more about the land, the people and their customs and practices, socio-cultural life-styles, religion of the past, origin of their language and the development of their literature. Although this is not an exhaustive work, it will be an eye-opener for those who are keen to know more about the tribes in and around the present State of Mizoram of North East India.
To commemorate the 125th Birth Anniversary of Rev. Liangkhaia (1884-1979) a dedication page is added in this book. There has been a Quasqui-centennial Jubilee Celebration of the anniversary in the form of Seminar, Exhibitions, memorial lectures, etc. in different cities and towns. If you look at the last Chapter of this book, you will find a brief account of Rev. Liangkhaia, whose 125th birth anniversary, Quasqui-centennial Celebration started from October 2009.
