What is truth? Many definitions have been offered in the course of time, yet its meaning remains obscure. Through this book, the essence of truth is revealed to us under the guiding light of Svami Puma’s teachings, and the way in which this knowledge can be used in our daily lives is clearly shown. Swami Purná has travelled and taught throughout the world and his message, which combines his experience of Eastern traditions with an understanding of the Western way of life, has a universal appeal. Many of the discourses in this book have come about in response to the particular needs of groups or individuals and they can provide the insight needed to reach our true selves, whatever our situation maybe. The word ‘puma is Sanskrit for ‘ff11’ or ‘complete’ and reflects the way in which Svami Purná integrates the spiritual with the practical to help us all discover the wholeness which we seek. Mahatma Gandhi has exhorted that we should ‘be truthful, gentle and fearless’—this book shows us the way.
