The book has been written from the perspective of the Vedas being the ultimate source of all knowledge and Sanskaras of the Bharatiya Sanskriti and hence, named Veda Kalpataru with the hope to prove to be a Kalpataru (a wish- yielding tree of the heavens) for the readers to attain and fulfil their wishes and goals.

Maharshi Sandipani Rashtriya Vedavidya Pratishthan (MSRVVP) is an autonomous organisation under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. It was established in Delhi on 20th January 1987, under the name "Rashtriya Veda Vidya Pratishthan" as a society, and after being shifted to Ujjain in May 1993 in memory of Maharshi Sandipani as "Maharshi Sandipani Rashtriya Vedavidya Pratishthan". The Hon'ble Minister of Education, Government of India is the Chairman of this organisation.
The Pratishthan's objectives are to preserve, develop, and propagate the oral tradition of Vedic studies. An endeavour to popularise oral recitation of the Vedas; to preserve, promote, support, and develop the Shruti tradition of studying the Vedas.
The Pratishthan aims to establish Vedapathashalas and Gurushishya Parampara Units all over India from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, Manipur, and Sikkim to Kutch. It is also responsible for conducting examinations and providing a certificate of Veda Bhushan (equivalent to the 10th certificate) and Veda Vibhushan (equivalent to the 12th certificate) as well as the preservation of all the available nine Shakhas of Sasvara Vedas (Shakala in Rigveda, Kanva, Madhyandini in Shukla Yajurveda, Taittriya in Krishna Yajurveda, Kauthuma, Ranayaniya, Jaiminiya in Samaveda, Shaunaka and Paippalada in Atharvaveda), organising Veda Sammelans all over India as well as Regional Veda Sammelans.
The Pratishthan also conducts various seminars on the Vedas, produces research, and publishes books on the Vedas. In addition to that, the organisation also assists Nityagnihotris and aged Vedapathees and provides education of the Vedas through the distance learning mode among many other initiatives.

This Vedic literature visualised by seers is relevant and important not only for Bharat but for the entire world. The Vedas have given the first sermon of civilization in the world. Veda is that vast amount of knowledge, which is true, eternal, and indestructible by its very nature. Maharshis have described Vedas as the source of all knowledge by saying "Sarvajnanamayo hi sah" (the knower of everything). The secrets of knowledge and science are hidden in the Vedas. Vedic literature is extremely useful in knowing the secrets of supernatural elements and also worldly subjects. Certainly, peace and goodwill can be achieved in the whole world by studying and studying the Vedas.
In the entire creation, man is knowledgeable and discerning. Both of these are the main means of achieving fourfold goals of human life (Dharma-Arth- Kama-Moksha). Knowledge and action are interconnected. Many types of instructions regarding human duties are found in the Vedas. Being a guide to the path of welfare for all, the importance of the Vedas as a promoter of welfare and knowledge, was there before, is there today and will remain so in future too. At present, only that determination, strength and devotion is required, through which maximum benefit can be derived from Veda Vidya. The grand palace of major schools of thought and priceless cultural traditions of India is established on the strong foundation of Vedas.
Vedas are a collection of words, the speech of God, so the Vedas are melodious, the vibration of Vedavani has the power to bring positive changes in the human brain and increase intellectual capacity. The glory of Vedic mathematics has been said to be the root of the mathematical power of Indians. The Indian way of life, which is known as Dharma, contains the complete science of life, it shows the life path for each individual. There is a huge science of life hidden in the basic pillars of our culture in the Vedic verses, in the Vedic mantras, in the Upanishads, and in the stories of the sages that are included. In the coming times, the understanding, definition and characteristics of consciousness are becoming most important in many fields of science.
