Exams in Which Fast Mathematical Calculations are Required The system of mathematics in vogue in ancient India was rediscovered from Vedas by Swami Bharati Krishna Tirthaji between 1911 to 1918, and was named as the Vedic Mathematics. This system of mathematics is based on sixteen "Sutras" (word-formulas), which describe the natural thinking pattern of mind, and thus provide appropriate solutions to intricate mathematical sums quickly.
