who initiated me into Krushna consciousness. He was a great exponent of Vedic philosophy, and who practiced Krushna conscious life and also preached Krushna consciousness all over the world. Srila Prabhupāda is an out-standing example of a Mahābhāgavata. He was a pure devotee and hence could wipe out the ignorance of many all over the world who then became his disciples. His activities are paralleled to the statement of Srimad Bhagavatam 1-2-15.

"While remembering the Personality of Godhead, with sword in hand the intelligent persons cut through the binding knots of material bondage. Therefore, who will not pay attention to his message?

Under the guidance, inspiration and encouragement of Srila Prabhupāda, I am able to compile this Vedic literature for the glorification of Guru Mahārāja and for the benefit of those who are interested in knowing the purpose of human-life. In this endeavor, I would like to thank many of my God-brothers, well- wishers and friends who helped me in the different stages of the preparation of this manuscript.
