This book has covered the different directions of yog that link yog to its darshan. It covers the brief history and evolution of yog. The schools of yog, and The eminent gurus. This book briefly describes the essential texts of yog, like Swatmaram's Hathayog Pradipika and Sage Gherenda's Gherenda Samhita, The Yog Sutra of Maharshi Patanjali, The Revered Bhagwat Gita and its secret teachings for wellbeing.
The scientific method of yog learning is highlighted with graphs and innovative art that have never been seen before in any yog book. Along with the human sensory organs and systems of human anatomy, physiological understanding is also addressed. In the additional chapters, the purpose of yog for stress management, personality development, and yog teaching equips the aim of this book-writing effort. This book can assist the reader in gathering all the related information on yog darshan in a single volume, which will fuel their spiritual search and knowledge growth. This book will also guide students in preparing for exams such as the YCB certification (Yoga Certification Board) or the NET (National Eligibility Test.).
Yog is more than just a physical workout. It is a structured education with a spirit of Indian culture. It is a science that has been studied for many years by sages. In modern times, the aspirants, being unaware of the basics of yogic discipline, take yog lessons to learn commercially, though this approach emphasises intelligence and discipline.
The science of the body is the most challenging subject to comprehend. Understanding bio-physical science is the primary subject matter of yog education. This science teaches people how to keep their bodies and minds healthy. Livelihood is essential for determining life. However, it must be remembered that intellectual yogic discipline can not be grasped only through physical exertion without adding intelligence. So, using the knowledge of the appropriate subject skill, yog education can be a holistic and alternative medical care.
Yog is an ancient art, and a natural way of living is vital to a healthy lifestyle; therefore, yog education is necessary.
I apologise to the reader and request that they forgive me for any unintentional mistakes in this book. I have used yog instead of yoga throughout the Yog Prasar'. I could not find a reason to carry the burden of an unreasonable 'A' in yog.
The grammatical root "Yuj" is the source of the word Yog. Linguistically, it has served as a unifier.
Yog, to me, is a link. When we are merely prostrate with both hands folded, we experience yog. The brain sends signals to the body; thus, the body follows the commands-the union of body and mind occurs. In that sense, we, the Indians, do yog every time we do namaste.
