A common man describes Yagya as the achievement of a goal for a good cause. Whereas in vedic language, Yagya is defined as a vedic process. Yagya is perhaps the bigger form for Havan. Yagya requires bigger forms of resources from every corner such as manpower, money, arrangements, place and all other ingredients.
Whereas Havan can be done daily in any home, Yagya requires bigger arrangements and is done occasionally. Yagya is always done to achieve a big goal in life. The recitation is only done by the Vedic pandits. This recitation comprises of mantras which have been taken from Shukla Yajurved.
In Hindus, five gods- Shri Ganpathiji, Shri Vishnuji, Shri Shankar Bhagwan, Shri Surya Devta and Devi Maa have head positation. This is called 'Panchayatan'. These gods are specifically worshipped in Yagya for obtaining their blessings. And this is done by the means of recitation of Mantras, performing Pooja, Jap, Dhyan and through Hawan. As we mentioned above that a Yagya is a beyond the reach and power of common 'Jeevaatma', we present a cassette/Compact disk which is "Vaagyagya".
