Sukasarikapralapana is an ancient technique that refers to training parrots and mynas to speak and sing and is one of the sixty-four types of art recognized by the Kamasutra of Vatsyayana. The Urli's crown was inspired by the temples of Halebidu and Belur and had an ornate parrot pattern. The artwork is coated in classic brass, and the core container is shaped traditionally. The Urli's filigree makes it a striking item of home décor. The Urli's body is additionally embellished with the coiled vine insignia in the center, making it even more appealing. When adorned with flowers and tealights, the reflection of the light on the parrots makes this sculpture a magnificent sight to see.
