Srishti, the creation of Brahma becomes enchanted when Krishna plays his flute in the lap of Vrindavan. The tunes of his Murli soothe, move, and mesmerize the hearts of the lucky beings who listen to them, including the trees, creepers, and earth of Vrindavan. This lovely acrylic on canvas by Santosh Narayan Dangare, has Murlidhara (fluting Krishna) as its divine subject, sitting relaxedly under a tree, which blooms at night only to shower the divine flute player with its fragrant white flowers.
A black and green background adds a mystical aura to Krishna’s presence, which is highlighted by a halo of red. Adorned with a Mormukuta, ornaments and a garland of fresh white blossoms, Krishna appears immersed in creating tunes as sweet as Amrita.
