Sripati- the beloved of Sri Lakshmi who is the most enchanting female in three realms, Vishnu Narayana in Hinduism is the pinnacle of beauty and auspiciousness. He is the supreme Hari, eternally beautiful and youthful. Inspired by the heavenliness of Vishnu, Drdha Vrata Gorrick has presented on this canvas an awe-inspiring roopa of the four-armed Lord.

On a delicate lotus pedestal, Vishnu stands with firmness and grace, wearing a pristine white dhoti, secured by a waistcloth and jeweled wasitbelt. Various ornate ornaments adorn his fair body- Kiritamukta (crown), Makara kundala (Makara is a mythical animal in Hinduism, symbolic of divinity and beauty), necklaces, and Srivatsa (triangular mark on the chest, symbolic of Lakshmi). A blissful blue, representative of eternity forms the background of Hari Narayana.

This charmingly smiling depiction of Vishnu comes with an inscription - “Om Keshvaya Namah”, “I bow down to Keshav”. Keshav is an epithet of Vishnu, which means “he who beautiful tresses”. And as the eyes travel to His head, one does find the most beautiful being, with the most beautiful hair, flowing gracefully on his shoulders.
