A foot tall, of a pillar-like structure - this Trishula stands on a quadri-layered pedestal. Although possessed by many deities in the Hindu pantheon, this particular is a Shiva Trishula marked to distinction by its Tripunda. Shiva, who is Ananta - free from the cycle of birth and death is said to have his Trishula - symbolizing immorality. The three prongs of the Trishula are often also seen as the three aspects of what life is about - Creation, Sustenance, and Destruction. Shiva’s omnipresence finds its way through the sight of his seraphic Trishula.
