An antique and artistic shrine dedicated to the episode of Lord Hanuman tearing his chest, to show Sri Rama-Sita in his heart, this brass sculpture is a symbol of the zenith of devotion.

A regal crown, flowing scarf, langot (short loincloth), ornaments, and a bell on his tail curving gracefully, add to the beauty of Hanuman.

In a striking pose, with his Gada supported by his body, Hanuman holds his chest, while gazing ahead unwaveringly.

Two pots of plenty (Purnaghata) placed on the pedestal and icons of the Sun and Moon with miniature icons of the god infuse the sculpture with a sacred aura.
