Dorje Sempa also known as Vajrasattva is a significant figure in Buddhism, he symbolizes purity, wisdom and compassion. He is also called the “Lord of Mandalas” as he is a union of hundred wrathful deities.
He is shown seated on a Golden Singhasan. This singhasan is decorated with blue and red stones. The chowki represents the royal supremacy that the Buddha left behind to attain enlightenment.
Vajrasattva has a tranquil facial expression. In his left hand, he is shown holding a golden vajra. This vajra is held very close to his heart. He also has a huge halo around his head, this halo is adorned with a row of blue stones signifying royal supremacy.
