A representation of the sanctum-sanctorum or Garbhagriha of a Vaishnava shrine, this wooden statue of Sri Vishnu presents the worshipped aspect of the deity, with a majestic aureole and attendants, bringing the aura of a temple to your space. Surrounded by an aureole with Kirtimukha or face of glory and lotus petal motifs, Vishnu is Chaturbhuja or four-armed, with the conch and discus and the gestures of Varada (giving boon) and Abhaya (removing fears), appearing as the supreme guardian of the Srishti.
He is adorned with intricate ornaments which are beautifully carved in the wood, giving a layered and three-dimensional appeal to the artwork. Accompanied by his attendants, Sri Vishnu in this wooden statue exudes divine regalia, which is a symbol of his omnipresent rule over the creation of Brahma.
