Rama bhakta (the devotee of Sri Rama) Lord Hanuman is the epitome of devotion and a focused mind, unwavering in the most challenging situation. Hangman's unshakable confidence in himself arises from his devotion to his Lord, in whose feet he places his head, who is always residing in his heart.
This brass Hanuman statue is the visual representation of Hanuman's adoration for Rama. He sits in the dhyana mudra (gesture of meditation), legs folded and eyes almost closed, meditatively. The energies emanating from his meditation are gathered behind his head, in the Abhamandal (halo). Since there is no use for weapons for a person whose heart is filled with Bhakti, his Gada or mace is kept aside. In front of him, is a book or tablet inscribed with the name - Rama, which Hanuman chants during his meditations. Carved in the centre of his chest, is the image of Sri Rama, a constant presence in the heart of his ardent worshipper and in every particle of this world.
