Aparamita, translated into “perfection”, this Buddhist deity has been given an aesthetical perfection in the Nepalese statue in stone. The Buddhist five-pronged crown is studded with precious stones which are matched by the embellishment of the statue all over. The brocade work of the attire of Aparamita is highlighted by silver wires. The pedestal on which Aparamita sits has tiger legs as support and the motif of a pot of plenty drawn on it. The perfection of Aparamita is best visualized on his face, which is enlivened thanks to the masterful use of gold and strokes of colors.
