Pranams! Since the year 1964, God has given me the opportunity to witness and experience the life journey of Guru, which was full of self-sacrifice, although, personally I do not have the knowledge or the capacity to understand it. I was born near the Ashram and I feel that if I do not record those experiences before leaving this world stage, it would be an injustice. If I have forgotten to mention anyone's name because of my failing memory, please forgive me. You may not be able to read this book with the same entertainment that a literary or historical work might offer.

The Ashram is growing day by day. In the place of the thatched hermitage of Guru, there stands the hallowed Parnasala in the shape of a lotus in marble.Thousands of people might come to work in Guru's institutions. Then the children of the world should know about the struggle of this institution from its inception and Guru's vision in every area of work. It is my prayer that this book should serve that purpose at least to a small extent.
