First, I feel, it is mandatory on my part to explain to the readers about the necessity of bringing out this book, "Baskara Astrologics of Cuspal Interlinks".

I would say that there are only two Schools of Astrology. The First one is based on "Grahas" or Planets. The Second one is based on "cusps" and their inter-links.

The first one is Vakya and Drik-Ganitha system. Some of the famous Astrologers of our times, basically believed that, events in one's life are determined and directed by planets and their "Karakams" alone. They just adhered to the basic classification of "Karakas" (nature) of Planets.

Suppose if one has Saturn in his ascendant (birth ascendant), they will just term it negative.

As an alternative to the above some of the followers of Drik-Ganitha System of Astrology worked out the cusps of bhavas, not foresee about Quantum Theory, Genetics and Computer Software:

It was of course not their fault. Knowledge is ever advancing and it his more to the credit of modern development in all fields of human endeavour rather than any failure of dynamism of our ancient sages.

However, our tradition-bound friends would differ from us. They would rather repeatedly dig the same old well for fresh water.
