Dr. Ghanshyam Singh Thakur Email ghanshyam thakur [email protected] Dr. Ghanshyam Singh Thakur was born on 01-July 1977 in a humble family of Gwalior (M.P.). He has done his M.Sc. (2004) and Ph.D. (2011) in Yogic Science from Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana (Deemded University), Bangaluru, Karnataka.

For last 10 years, he is pursuing his career in the field of: Yoga and it's applications in the emerging field of the Yoga therapeutic applications of health, lifestyles, positive health and fitness regime. He has published various Research papers in Scientific Indexed Journals and Presented Research Articles in International and National Yoga Conferences and Seminars.

Previously he has worked as a Research Officer in the Scientific Research Department in Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute, Lonavala, Pune Currently he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Yoga, Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal (Central) University, Srinagar Garhwal, Uttarakhand.

There are many researchers trying to understand consciousness, including philosophers: Neurophysiologists using FMRI studies, Cognitive psychologists, Robotic experts and many. After being neglected for many years (i.e. during a period of dominance by behaviorism in psychology), interest in the science of consciousness exploded in the last 3 decades, with much progress in neuroscience, psychology, philosophy, and other areas.
