It is an Indian tradition to sing the glories of Divine Personalities. On Sri Ramakrishna, there are many books in English prose. The author has made a humble attempt to compose a few stanzas on the Great Master. The subject is very vast. To do justice to such a subject a real poet is required. The author is fully conscious of his limitations.
Swami Swahanandaji Maharaj, Head of the Vedanta Society of Southern California, Hollywood, had taken keen interest and had given encouragement to the author in his literary pursuits. The then Head of the Thrissur Math, Swami Mridanandaji Maharaj had published this work in 1994. Now that the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture is keen to publish this book, we think it would be of great volue. We are grateful to all those who have helped us, directly or indirectly, in bringing out this publication.
Readers are requested to appreciate this work just like elders show benevolence to a child's prattle.
