Where have I come from? Where will I go when she body perishes? What is Reality? What is Maya? In the pursuit of Truth, one often contemplates the meaning of existence. What is life? Is there a mystery beyond life and death? Have I experienced countless universes before? HOW did it all start? HOW Will it end? The Vedic Journey begins for the one whose heart resonates with the Grand Vedic Question - Who am I?
Eye of Shiva - Beyond the Quantum Universe - explores ancient concepts such as:
Relative and Absolute Consciousness.
The field of experience generated by Prakriti.
The changing order of the observer and the observed.
The states of waking, dreaming and dreamless sleep.
The essence of 'is' and 'is not'.
The condition of Kaivalya, and the Abode of Shiv.
It brings forth the translations of Vijnan Bhairav Tantr and Kaivalya Upanishad, emphasizing the direct link between consciousness and the quantum worlds of relative realities.
Prashant Saxena is the author of Bhagvad Gila - The Supreme Secret, Return of the Divine Mother and Scroll of Asbutoakr. He has been pursuing Indian science since a very early age.
Brought up in a family of doctors, who themselves are rooted in she ancient Indian wisdom, and having an affinity for science, he has observed closely the evolution of modern science and the various holistic perspectives on Indian knowledge. He is also the grandson of Dr. Veerbala, a Sanskrit scholar and a teacher, and Dr. Dharamvir Bharti, the Chief-Editor of the popular Hindi weekly magazine Dharmayug, from 1960 till 1987, who was awarded Padilla Shree for literature in 1972 by the Government of India.
Once a blind man was lost in a magical castle. He tried to search for a way out, but he was unable to find any door. In despair, he shouted for help. A few moments later, a young girl arrived and said, "Sir, ,there are over a million doors here. All are closed, except for one. It is open, and it leads you out of this castle." She made him touch the first door and said, "You must find the open door by yourself. But please remember, after touching that door, if you let go of it, then it will disappear, and appear again only after another hundred years". The girl then ran away. The blind man touched the doors one by one. They seemed to be closed. Hours passed, and then finally he came to the door, which was open. The moment he touched it, he sneezed, and his hand released the door. There and then, the door disappeared, and the blind man kept searching for the correct door.
It is said that human existence is the only world of experience, which qualifies for opening the portal of the Supreme Reality. There are countless worlds of experience, but they are bound by Svabhaav (one's own behavior and attributes). An animal eats when he feels the desire to eat, and sleeps when the sun sets. But only a human being can stay away from eating even when he feels the desire to eat. He can stay awake all day, and he can change his Svabhaav through practice. Moreover, only a human being has the choice to transcend Svabhaav, and all kinds of perceptions. He has the choice - of roaming the field of experience helplessly attached to desires, borrowed opinions and limited perceptions, or - to embrace the fields of flaming vision, the ocean of Truth and the kingdom of Pure Bliss. The ancient texts of Aryavart propel us towards this Golden Path, yet, even then, only the one who bears the Vedic Agni - the resolve towards Truth - only he can perform the Vedic Yajna and open the portal of Truth. That fosterer of the Vedic Sun has the required intelligence, which can break free from the conditionings of the society, and question the existing norms. He questions even the scientific community and the ancient scriptures, and only after proper contemplation, he approves of them.
Today, science is reduced solely to material experimentation. Modern scientists seek equations, which can help them unravel the mysteries of the universe. For example, each planet is. considered to have a gravitational constant. The age of a substance is known by the half-life formula. Just like cell regeneration rate changes from young age to old age, similarly, can the gravity of planets and rate of decay in substances change variably over a million years? If the answer is yes, then, it changes the entire perception of what is known. The sunlight takes approximately eight minutes to reach the Earth. It means the state of the Sun that we are observing now was the snapshot thrown by the Sun eight minutes in the past. The present state of the Sun will be known after the next eight minutes. In this way, even the closest object is seen in the past, since light takes time to travel. What about the stars and galaxies, which are light years away? At night, we are assuming that we are watching the stars in the present. But, the light that is reaching us now was thrown by them billions of years back in the past. Who can confirm and with what certainty, that those stars and galaxies still exist? What if the speed of light itself changes over a million years? Once the concept of change is understood, and mapped on to the multi-layered micro as well as the macro fabric of the universe, then it will reveal that we know nothing about the universe!
