This book is a compilation of the thrilling and most enlightening memoirs of those keen observers -ardent devotees and inquisitive visitors, who were fortunate enough to meet the great Fakir Sai Baba. the great spiritual saint of Shirdi during His life-time as Avatar till He achieved Mahasamadi in 1918 at the age of 80. They have left behind for the posterity their first-hand memories of Sai Baba's charismatic divine personality and His invaluable teachings for the humanity as also the miracles done by Him to alleviate the sufferings of His devotees and encourage and help them to tread the path of morality and spirituality Most of these testimonies were originally collected by revered Sri Narasimha Swamiji during mid-1930s by meeting and personally interviewing Baba's con- temporary devotees and visitors during His life time, They were published earlier under the title 'Devotees Experiences of Sai Baba by All India Sal Samaj. Mylapore. Madras and then by Sai Nama Saptaha Samithi, Hyderabad. Besides those invaluable testimonies, I have col- lected the testimonies or memoirs of Shivamma Thayee of Bangalore by personally interviewing her on 25th July, 1992, and the memoirs of about six other persons from various journals and books on Sai Baba published during this decade. These mem- oirs have been duly edited and alphabetically arranged by me so that spiritual seekers, researchers and devotees of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba all over the globe may be motivated and duly helped in unravelling the divine mysterys of the unique Fakir Sri Shirdi Sai Baba.
